This video was recorded a few months back. First time I ever fired a sawed off with a
handgrip. This video's original purpose for being recorded was just for the humor of it
because, come on, I just look silly as hell. But, aside from that I also want to put it
up for all you ladies or really anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of firing a gun and
might be interested. I know a few of you out there might be intimidated about using firearms,
don't be! I'm barely 5'1, my wrists are less than 6 inches in circumference, and my biceps
are literally as big around as a baseball. In other words,I'm not some terribly impressive
bad-***, and if it weren't for my husband's manly ability to open jars, I'd suffer the
misfortune of not being able to enjoy pickled asparagus in my bloody mary's. And let me
tell ya, after 27 months of combat and the scarce opportunity to eat in a place where
sand doesn't infiltrate anything that is not vacuum sealed, the man is a master at opening
jars and other non perishable food items pre-packaged in such an ungodly manner that it makes ripping
down t-walls with a set of dentures seem more doable. However, unlike my war-seasoned, jar
opening, other half suggests in the video, the recoil did NOT hurt me. So, my point is:
If I can comfortably handle a .20ga sawed off with a 12in barrel, 3inch rounds, and
a pistol grip instead of a buttstock, the only thing there is to be afraid of is running
out of ammo when you realize you're having a hell of a good time and become addicted
to playing with anything that requires a firing pin to work properly...unless you're lame
like some of those people who don't like pickled asparagus in their bloodmary's..Or, worse
yet, anti-American, or even worse yet, the abominations of global society who don't enjoy
alcohol, otherwise known as "those damn commies", Jehovah's Witnesses, terrorists, or worst
of them all, the Westboro Baptist Church...All of which are good reason within their own
respects(or lack there of) to own and use firearms...Keeheehee... : ) Now, before you
go out handling anything with a pistol grip that isn't a pistol, I recommend starting
off with a regular ol 12 gauge shotty with a standard buttstock. Yes, it is higher guage,
but it's easy to get used to, and ridiculously fun. The recoil is not that bad despite the
videos on here of idiots getting scared and dropping the damn gun. Again, with my size
and the fact I have a battery in my chest (gotta be careful to protect it from high
impact and/or high vibrations),I have NEVER dropped, thrown, or discarded a gun in any
way shape or form that I did not intend to. In other words, if I can handle something
with more footpounds of recoil than I have in body weight, odds are you can too. ;) Buttttt....If
your girlfriend is more worried about smudging that fake orange tan on her shoulder than
feeling a little kick I suppoooose you can try her out on a .410. Now, if she want's
to go skeet shooting I'm not going to hate on a .410, they're a lot lighter and thus
a lot easier to hold up. My mom actually has one and I respect the hell out of a woman
who bakes cookies for her grandkids and can still kick my *** without trying. So0o, if
your interested in getting your first shotgun I think a Mossberg 500 is a great starter
political ***,the ammunition for it is easy to find, inexpensive, and there is no
limit for how much you can buy at one time. In other words, you can stockpile this ***
without paying an arm and a leg. And hey, if we ever break out into another civil war
But those are mostly intended for hunting and don't have my first pick for home defense
unless, A: you own a mountain B:Live at the top of said mountain and think that goat 1000
yards away at the bottom might kill your poor defenseless wildflowers, in which case I'd
tell you to get a Leupold scope and a Berret. Now, I know a lot of people are only interested
in learning to shoot for home/self defense so a handgun is more up your alley especially
if you intend to carry. As far as pistols go I've never shot anything smaller than a
.40 and personally don't recommend getting anything smaller than that. I mean having
a little .380 might be easier to conceal but if I have to use it to protect myself or my
family, I want a man stopper, not an underwear gun, lol. A great weapon for this purpose,
though quite heavy and my personal favorite (as a girl who carries a purse, not a shoulder
holster), is a 1911. (I prefer Remington's 1911 but Ruger and S&W also make excellent
guns. Just do yourself a favor and don't go with a Taurus, there is a reason they are
(I want 3)or an M2 Browning .50 cal machine gun also known as the "Ma Deuce", which, conveniently
