Okay, let's start.
1- Understand.
Flick index finger up.

Anyway.
2 - Deaf
two ways to sign Deaf.
3 - Hearing
Are you hearing?
Yes, I am hearing. Cool.
4 - Mean(ing)
Flat palm, V-fingers tap 2x on palm, shift fingers
What does that mean?

What does that sign mean?
5 - Nice
Two flat palms, dominate hand slides over the bottom hand.
Nice to meet you
or.. She's nice. She's not nice.
6 - Like.
Middle finger and thumb spread out and then pinch in the middle as you draw your hand out.
I like you.
Oh! You like me? Thank you!
7 - Thank you
Don't cup hand. DON'T start under chin (bad word).
Don't put hand all the way down.
It's weird and awkward.
Just short like this. Simple thank you, thanks.
8 - Please
Flat hand, circular motion on chest, just under collar bone.
9 - Slow
Both hands in 5-hand shape, the top slides over the bottom hand.
I'm reeeeaaaallllly slooooooooow at signing (puff cheeks for more emphasis and sign slow)
He's slow. It's a fun sign.
10 - Again
Close fingers, bend palm at 90* angle, tap into middle of palm.
Please sign that again slowly, I'm learning sign language.
These are good signs to know for new signers.
