Let's look now at Pot Limit Holdem. The way Pot Limit works is it's kind of like No Limit
in that you can get a big pot built up pretty quickly, but where as No Limit means you can
bet whatever you have in front of you on the table. In Pot Limit, you can only raise the
amount of the pot. Let’s look here. Let's suppose that the first act, then under the
gun decides to fold. The next person decides to fold and this person decides "you know
what, I raise". Raise the pot is what he is going to do. Well, in this game, the big blind
is two in this example and the way the Pot Limit works is unless you're one of the blinds
you figure your raise based on seven times the small blind if you're the first to enter
the pot. Because what Pot Limit does is it assumes that the small blind will complete
its bet and you say "raise" and you go up to seven times the small blind. And there
you are. Now this person can again bet the pot and if he does so he'll pretty much be
all in because this is what he has left. And that's how you get a hand built up really
quickly in Pot Limit. That's how it's almost like No Limit. Now let's go and consider No
Limit.
