This opening style would be for, what I think of is like a prom dress. It's spaghetti straps
with beading. And the spaghetti straps are what you would find on a camisole. Spaghetti
means thin. They're skinny straps. The beading part of it, is just to show you that you can
have something added in. Embellishing your opening to create a whole another opening.
If you wanted to do a line of prom dresses, let's say. And you're going to work within
strict parameters. They all need spaghetti straps. So one, they're prom dresses. Two
they're all spaghetti straps. How do you make them different? How do you create something
for an entire collection to make several pieces. Out of one concept with strict parameters.
You add these. You could add beading, you could add sequins. Sequins could be, you know
what sequins are. Sequins are little dots. Or let's say you have spaghetti straps and
then you have a border of something. Like the same strap, fabric. This is just to show
you that there is plenty of alternatives out there.
