A local senior goes high tech after changing security systems. This decision made him a
company’s one-millionth customer. He got a gift bag full of extras that puts his home
on the cutting edge of technology. This grandfather got a little more than he expected when he
decided to change his security system. After more than 30 years in the same house, he inadvertently
entered the world of high-tech. I was the one-millionth person to sign a contract for
their business so they had some extra gifts for me. In addition to the regular hats and
shirts, James Owen received an even bigger upgrade which incorporated his lights and
the temperature of his house. The most important thing was an Ipad and an Iphone. These are
tools to control the house. I can control my lights. I can control the temperature.
I can control small appliances with the modules that they installed. And the door locks and
of course the cameras. Another feature of this system is that you can actually record
what is going on at home. In fact you can record anywhere that there is a camera. And
you can do it away from home via Iphone, Ipad, computer, or any smartphone. On any browser
in the world he can pull up those cameras. You can pan and tilt them. Johnson says, the
setup is up to the customer. Each camera is motion sensitive so you can set up parameters
for the cameras. About the only thing the system can’t do is hold a conversation with
Owen, but it still gives him a lot more confidence.
