This next herb is called Hong Hua or safflower not to be confused with safron because if
this were safron I could retire now. Safflower is a little bit more common and not to expensive.
This particular herb is often times used for menstrual problems and menstrual pain. It
can be made into a tea as a single or commonly be combined in with other herbs to guide it
to the right location. This herb is often times used for problems of infertility, painful
***, we often times use it for endometriosis as well as fibroids. One invigorating property
of this herb is we find it guides right to the abdomen. We find it is extremely effective
with gynecological problems. Do use a bit of caution with this though because it does
have a blood invigorating property and it does have a slight blood thinning property
so for somebody who is already on some blood thinners from their MD you need to be very
cautious in taking this. This herb is one that you probably don't want to take on your
own but work with a Chinese herbalist or with an acupuncturist to properly prescribe it
for you.
