Hi, I'm Matt Cail and behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to put together
a druid costume today. Recall going over our make-up supplies. There wasn't a whole lot
in terms of different colors we went over. Now we are going to apply that limited color
though. We are going to take black on a very fine tipped brush and underneath the eyes
we are going to start adding some black. Now it is not going to remain this black line.
What we are going to do is we are going to start spreading it and smearing it around
getting more of a grey. What are we doing here? We are adding in some shadows underneath
the eyes. You are going to be a hooded figure. It is okay to add some air of mystery. The
main risk here though is adding way too much black where you start looking like a skull
and less like a slightly robed mysterious figure. You don't want to go for that effect.
You want to keep it subtle. Keep it a little bit. As soon as you start seeing the grey
become more uniform and darker you know you have done enough because you want kind of
more of a rougher edge molded look. You don't want to have anything more than that. You
can extend the shadow slightly up to the tops of the eyes as well but most of it is going
to be underneath the eyes. I would say about two thirds of it for our mysterious robed
figure effect.
