Today I'd like to show you how to use the knockout on the new ACO Polymer drain.
Things that you will need to work on this project are a drain...
a ball-peen hammer...
any pipes and adapters...
and a caulking gun.
Inside you'll notice a picture of a hammer.
That's where you'll want to place your hammer.
On the back side
you'll notice the four inch round
and the six inch oval.
You'll want to place the channel on firm but not hard ground,
and then gently tap around your knockout.
The plug will come right out.
Gently clean up the edges...
place your pipe or adapter in...
caulk around.
For the six inch drain,
you're going to gently tap the second half of the adapter.
Piece falls right out...
again, you clean your edges...
nice adapter piece, goes from oval to round...
and again, you caulk it
in place.
The procedure for the eight inch drain and the twelve inch drain is the same as for the four inch drain.
