In this clip we're going to talk about how to organize a website for your convention.
Again, the first thing we mentioned before, the first thing you should do is get out there,
find a domain name, find something that's going to identify the convention with you.
That might not be as easy as it sounds because so many domain names are already taken, but
get a domain name, get it registered and then begin building your website. And the first
thing you want to do is come up with a theme. And the theme is just a look and feel of what
your website is going to be. And again, just do that from your imagination. You don't have
to copy anything, just whatever is, whatever you think is going to be good for your face
because that's what this is, it's the face of your event. Keep it updated often. Put
as much information on there as you can, every time you have a new guest, every time you
have a new event, every time you want to put something forward, put it on your website.
And a very good thing to do, which personally I didn't do until the very end, is get yourself
some sort of a contact manager, some place where people can put their email in and you
can keep contact with them one on one. This way you don't have to go out in mass and try
to re-create the will every time you want to get out on advertisement.
