Hey guys, welcome to MAX Training! I am going to bring out one of my favorite training partners today-
the deck of cards. If you find yourself traveling a lot,
or maybe you just like to workout at home, don't have a lot of space or fancy
equipment, all you need
is a deck of cards. The first thing I did was took a standard deck of cards
separated it out into the 4 different suits. Go ahead and shuffle them within
each suit and then we're going to grab something
to write down our favorite exercises and the body parts we want to work.
Today we are going to do legs,
core, and throw in arms for a bonus. I am going to grab my first suit
and the first one I wrote down was squat. So we are going to hold for the first card.
Hold for 3. Pump for 10.
Face cards are 10.
Hold for 10.
Pump for 8.
Next suit,next exercise- right lunge.
Put your right leg in front. Make sure you go
to 90 degrees and keep your knee pointing straight down.
Hold for 10.
Pump for 7.
Shake that out! Next one.
Left lunge. Put other foot in front.
Here we go, hold for 7.
Pump for 8.
Hold for 4.
Alright, last one.
It is really important that your feet face
out and then we go down and are nice inline like a
tabletop. Hold for 4.
Pump for 2.
Hold for 10.
Separate the cards out again.
Doesn't matter if you want to shuffle them,
that is fine.
We are going to start over, this time on the ground. Doing our core.
The first one we are crunching. Remember when you crunch
keep that chin pointing straight up, do not put your hands
here to pull,but just for support.
We crunch straight up. When you do the hold,
your hold in the crunch position. So, first suit.
We are
holding for 10.
Crunching for 7.
Grab the next one, we are gong to do side crunch.
Turn to the side, same thing, looking straight up.
Hold for 4.
Crunch for 2.
Hold for 10.
Turn to the other side and we're going to
hold for 3.
Crunch for 10.
Alright, last one's a killer!
We are going to do our V-ups.
First thing we are going to do is get into a V position.
and hold for 7.
Full V-up for 8.
Hold it there for 4.
Time for our arm bonus. Pick one of the suits.
Doesn't matter which one. Flip it over.
Push-up position. Make sure your head stays up.
Hold for 3.
Push-up for 10.
what to you 3 all
Hold for 7.
Last one! Push through for 5.
