Hi! I'm Chef Rainer Wickel and I am here with expertvillage.com. Well we finished grilling
our Tequila Lime Shrimp skewers and believe me these are really really good. Now remember
what you need to do is cook these for about 2 1/2 minutes on each side. You want to make
sure that you don't overcook them. Otherwise they are going to become kind of hard and
they are not going to taste really good. You want these to be nice and juicy. The key to
it is you just need to look when the shrimp is actually turning a nice orange color, that's
when you know they are pretty well cooked. Now, you don't want to char these. Remember
these are smaller shrimps too. If they are already black, that probably means that you
over cooked them. So go ahead and do them 2 1/2 minutes on each side but do it just
mostly by look. That is the important thing. You can actually serve these straight off
the skewer. These work best as an appetizer. This is really the best way to serve these
shrimp so make sure that you have some Salsa handy. Just go ahead and serve the shrimp
with some salsa and believe me you'll get the Tequila Lime flavor with the Salsa together
is going to be really tasty. It is basically like the Hispanic version of a shrimp cocktail
and believe me, there is nothing quite like this. You can put these on rice and serve
these as a main dish but really these work best as an Hors d'Ĺ“uvre. And this is how
we make Tequila Lime Shrimp skewers.
