Hi, I'm Robin with treesmom.com. We're making a video for Expert Village today on how to
add jewels to your clothes to embellish them. I want to talk a little bit about the glue.
Gluing them is a lot easier than sewing them. It does make them permanent, so if you decide
you don't like it, it's really hard to change, whereas, if you sew them on, it's real easy
to change, you just clip the thread and change it. The type of glue that I've been using
is by Beacon Adhesives, it's called Fabritat Glue. It's washable, it's dryable, it's permanent
and it makes a really good adherence to the fabric, so that it doesn't come off in the
wash and in the dry. And, usually you can find this at any craft store or any super
store like Wal-Mart or Target. Very easy to find in the craft section. The helpful, some
of the helpful hints, is do not use it on a varnished table, it will ruin the varnish.
Make sure you cover your work surface no matter what you do so it doesn't get on your surface,
but this is called Fabritat Glue and it's just found in the craft store and that's what
we're going to be using today.
