The twisted pentagon stitch is just like the regular pentagon stitch only instead of alternating
our stitch, we actually do the same stitch every time.
So you'll need five pieces of gimp that are all the same length and start
by tying a knot in one end,
leaving about an inch or two of gimp hanging off after the knot.
Then separate your strands and choose one of your strands to be your top strand.
It doesn't matter which one you choose,
but you'll need to remember it.
So I'm going to make the green strand my top strand.
We'll start by taking our top strand to the left.
So I'm going to take my green strand and bring it over my blue strand.
And we'll just keep going around.
Blue over yellow. Yellow over orange.
Orange over pink, and pink through the green loop.
Then we'll tighten all of our strands.
Now when we started that stitch we took our top stitch and we brought it
to the left. Since we're doing the twisted pentagon stitch,
we're just going to repeat that over and over again,
instead of alternating. So I'm just going to do the same thing for my second
stitch that I did for the first stitch.
Green over blue, blue over yellow,
yellow over red, red over pink,
and pink through the green loop.
Then we'll tighten it up.
Just keep repeating this until you're ready for the final stitch.
