Hello and welcome to Todd's kitchen. Todays recipe is an incredibly simple and easy recipe to make
especially if your time poor and it tastes fantastic so join me today as i make my version of beef nachos.
To start of with i have a fry pan on a medium heat and to that add a little bit of
olive oil
next add one roughly chopped onion
then a couple of teaspoons of chopped garlic
or minced garlic as i'm using here
and just
keep moving it around
just until the onions soften a bit
Once the onions have soften up add in out mince meat
And what we are going to do is just break it up
break it up as much as you can and cook it until it browns
Now that our minced has cooked
What we are going to do is take the mince of and drain out the liquid
then put the meat back into the pan
now that the meat has been drained
add in one can of diced tomatoes
Then half a cup of chicken stock
Then give it a stir through
next add in two teaspoons of ground coriander
1 teaspoon of cumin
and just a pinch of cayenne pepper
Then give it a very good stir through
just until it is evenly distributed
So once done we are going to lower the temperature down to a simmer
and let it simmer for ten to fifteen minutes just so the sauce can thicken up a bit
So the sauce has thickened up and this is smelling
fantastic
it really really is
So what we are going to do now is take this of the heat
Next onto a plate sprinkle on our
nacho chips
I will leave it up to you on which brand or flavour you want to use, personally I'm using the cheese flavour
because i just happen to like the cheese ones
so sprinkle those on
Next with some of our meat we will place it on
just *** smack
right in the middle
and then spread on some tasty cheddar cheese
yum yum look at that
So once done im going to out this under the grill or in America its called a broiler
and we are going to keep it in there just long enough for the cheese to melt onto
the meet
I have just taken it out and as you can see the cheese is nicely melted
now im going to add some salsa on top
and lastly a dollop of sour cream
and its ready to serve, look at that, how simple and easy was that
it was done basically in no time
total preparation was about fifteen minutes it was that simple
but only one thing matters
lets give this a try
if i can get some
oh yum, yum yum
Now that is really good
you have a hint of all those herbs
plus with that lovely melted cheese, the salsa the cream
That taste simply delicious and it was made in not time flat. It was incredibly simple and easy to make
especially if you're time poor then you will have no problem making this and everyone is going to love you for it
I guarantee it. Thank you for watching this episode of Todd's kitchen. A list of ingredients are down below
