Hi! I’m Katrina Cameron and on behalf of Expert Village, I’m going to show you how
to organize your sauces and jams and jellies and sweet things and condiments inside of
your refrigerator. Before you start this project, which should be done about once every two
weeks, you want to have a sponge on hand and a paper towel so that as you’re rearranging
your sauces you can wipe up any mess that gets on your fridge space. Then just to remember
you can always put sponges in the microwave and zap them for about 2 minutes to kill some
bacteria. You want to make sure that you put like with like, so I’ve put all the sweet
things like jams, whip cream and syrups in one area. Then the condiments can go in another
area. We’ve got mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, stuff like that. Then sometimes if you have
a small little bit of room for eggs, you can keep them in the butter container. Below,
I like to keep all of the sauces and you should just rearrange them so that this is a sweet
sauce and this needs to go up here. We’ve got salad dressing towards the front, sauces
towards the back. Just make sure it’s all cleaned up and you can wipe off any residue.
These should really be gone through once a month and you want to make sure if there’s
any sauces that your family didn’t like you just get rid of them. It’s a constant
maintenance that really helps keep an organized fridge.
