Now we're going to be cutting and trimming clips. At the top here we have the razor tool.
I'm going to use this tool and split the video here. As you can see both the audio and video
have been split, this is because they're both linked. Now I'm going to select the second
half of the video and delete it. Now I'll undo this. Another way of trimming is, over
here we have a graphic which is not linked to its audio. And so I will select the graphic
and then press the shift key and select the audio. Now I will go to end of them both and
drag the cursor to where I want the graphic and audio to stop. I'll now undo that and
show you an alternate way to insert the video with it already being cropped in the source
itself. I will now select the video, and then over here is where I can see the source itself.
I now look for where I want the video to start. I'm going to drag this tool to zoom in and
out. I will now place the marker in the place I want it to start and press "I", this would
be my in point. Now I'm going to look for my out point, and then press "O". To insert
the cropped video I will click on "Insert" here. As you can see no audio, I will separately
place the audio into the timeline by hovering over this image and dragging it onto the timeline.
