And I hold in my hand tonight's top ten list. The list tonight, the top 10 things football
fans need this season. Carla, you've heard of the football, right? Well you're talking
about football like the World Cup? Big fan then, anyways, the team from Sterling Satellite
will be helping us out tonight, they're the number one online retailer of Dish Network.
Without further ado, here's tonight's Top Ten list.
Number 10: A big TV. Every football fan needs a big-screen TV.
How else do you expect to get up close and personal with all that intense onscreen action.
Usually with TV it's the bigger, the better, so while we appreciate those of you who still
bring that tiny 5 1/2 inch black and white TV, to the Thanksgiving dinner table. Cause
let's face it, that's dedication. It's time to upgrade.
Number 9: HD. If you're going to go all out with a brand
new 120 inch TV, you deserve to feel like you're at the game. Because let's face it.
You don't have enough money to buy a ticket anymore. With HD from Dish Network, you get
crystal-clear picture and sound, so what's on your screen looks the same as if you were
standing there. Hey that's a pretty great picture you've got there.
Number 8: Something to throw. Football is mostly exciting, but sometimes
frustrating. Having something soft to squeeze or throw lets you vent your frustrations without
worrying about breaking the really important thing, like that new HDTV. Or your wife. May
we also suggest a personal penalty play so that you can call party fouls on your friends
and family. Personal foul, double dipping. Hey you! No dip access for 15 minutes.
Number 7: The celebration ritual. A five-step high five, an end zone dance in
your living room. Plowing through your favorite food and drink. Whichever one works best for
you, you need a unique way to show your support.
Number 6 : Food. Game day is never complete without some great
grub. So grab those brats, burgers and hot dogs and get to it, oh yeah, and chicken wings.
And pretzels, and taco dip. Seriously, don't forget the taco dip. Hey ma, don't forget
that Taco dip.
Number 5. Information on our favorite team and their biggest rivals. You can't expect
anyone to take you seriously unless you know your team. And you can't expect to trash talk
and be truly effective unless you know your rival. With DISH network, you can get ESPN
and the NFL network and get the latest news and notes all season long. Doing your homework
has never been this much fun.
Number 4: Your team's color. Show your support by decking yourself out
in the finest studs thatat showcase your team colors. Your team's color.
Show your support by decking yourself out in the finest studs thatat showcase your team
colors. Jerseys, t-shirts, hats, whatever you need to rep your favorite team. And don't
you even think about siding with the patriots, because you look good in blue. It's not gonna
fly.
Number 3: The red zone challenge. Benassi Financial loved the NFL red zone channel from
Dish Network. You can see every score, every Sunday, all season long so you'll know who's
putting up the points in your fantasy league. Dibs on David Beckham! Actually Carla, that's
football.
Number 2: Friends. When things get bad, you can spike that home
football. But when they get good, you need someone to high five. Your friends give you
someone to celebrate the ups and downs with. Commiserate or celebrate, just don't do it
alone. Hey Carla, you got any of those? You got any friends?
And the number one thing that football fans need this season: a comfy couch.
Even though you'll be on your feet for most of the game, you'll need to regroup and refocus.
A comfy couch is where it's at.
