On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford and I'm going to show you how to make shrimp
egg rolls and with sesame noodles. Now we're going to cook our pork. I have my pan heating.
In the mean time, I have this nice piece of lemongrass. That will add some depth to the
pork and shrimp filling that we're making. I'm just going to peel this off a little bit.
This is very tough, but I can get a few slices out of it. It'll help flavor our filling. Let's peel
a few more.
I love the lavender hue inside some of these. You see the rings there. We're going to pull
those rings apart and sauté them after we get the shrimp there. I'm going to use a little
bit of oil here. You can see by the way the oil is reacting that the pan is hot. About
half a pound of ground pork. As I said, we're going to build our filling right in this pan.
We're going to start with the pork and get that cooked through. When we come back, we're
going to add our shrimp.
