Siobhan: This is pretty remote. It's a good spot to be keeping Megan.
Lucky: Yeah, unless she's being held someplace else entirely.
Siobhan: No, those thugs, they said Inishmore island.
Lucky: I know, but they could have suspected we were listening
And lied to throw us off.
Siobhan: Could be. If they had more brains than a door knocker.
Lucky: Point taken.
Siobhan: They said they'd be killing Megan in the morning.
What if we're too late?
Carly: Brenda? We need to talk.
Sonny: She's not here. What are you doing here?
Carly: Okay.
Sonny: Wait, wait, wait.
Why do you want to talk to Brenda?
Carly: Personal.
You gonna tell her to not marry me?
Carly: Yeah.
Jason: Just keep checking for me, okay?
Sam: Spinelli?
Jason: Yeah. Second background check on Theo came out clean.
Sam: What about the lawyers suing Brenda and Dante?
Jason: Nothing there either.
Sam: Okay. Well, then maybe Theo is exactly who he says he is--
This lawyer from Manhattan who came to Port Charles to defend Brenda and Dante.
Jason: Not after the threats he was making last night.
Theo is connected to the Balkan.
We just need to figure out how.
Theo: So Sonny and Brenda have no suspicion about our connection?
Suzanne: Trust me, they would be floored to discover we're married.
Theo: And Aleksander?
Suzanne: I've never mentioned our son to Brenda.
She brings him up occasionally, how violent he was.
But she has never shown any remorse about his death.
It takes a lot of effort to hide my true feelings.
Theo: Well, soon you won't have to.
So, are you, uh, helping with the wedding preparations today?
Suzanne: Mm. I thought I would stop by and, uh, offer to help.
And you?
Theo: Paying a visit to that den of incompetence.
Suzanne: Theo. There is nothing wrong with you.
Theo: As you know, I have a delicate constitution
Which happily gives me an excuse to meet with the matron of honor
And get some more details about the wedding.
Suzanne: Mm. And I take it Robin falls for your lonely curmudgeon routine?
[Door opens]
Brenda: Hi.
Theo: Hello. I brought in Ms. Stanwyck
To question her about your reaction to the Banovic shooting.
Brenda: I know exactly what you're doing.
Lucky: Okay, so the coastline is about twenty yards away.
A Zodiac has pulled ashore.
[Woman screaming]
Lucky: Come here.
Siobhan: They could be killing my sister. We're supposed to be saving her.
Lucky: Get down. Get down. Shh!
Wait till he's gone.
Okay, let's go, let's go. Over here.
Siobhan: It's Megan.
Lucky: Okay.
Hold on.
Robin: So... about last night...
Patrick: I'm not going to apologize
Because I'm not sorry and I don't regret it.
Robin: Good, because I didn't expect you to regret it.
Patrick: Did you?
Robin: No. It was nice.
Patrick: Ooh. Nice. Kinda hurts.
Robin: Considering I could have slugged you, I think nice puts you in the win column.
Patrick: I'm not gonna be in the win column until I get you back.
Robin: Well, this seems like a perfectly good time for me to ask you for a favor.
[Patrick chuckles]
Robin: I have to help Brenda with some wedding preparations.
Could you cover for a patient?
Patrick: Sure.
Robin: Thank you.
Patrick: Who is it?
Robin: Theo Hoffman.
Patrick: No. No. Robin, no.
Not Theo. Anybody but Theo. I don't want him--
No, not Theo.
Brenda: I just meant that, um, well
You two both know that nothing puts a knot in my stomach like this lawsuit.
There's just so much stress involved, and I'm just wondering if maybe we could put off
Talking about the case until after my wedding day?
Suzanne: Oh, Brenda, I am so sorry I added to that stress.
Theo: I was merely attempting to, uh, give due diligence to your case.
Suzanne: Actually, I was glad when Mr. Hoffman called me down here to talk
Because, well, it gives me an opportunity to help in some way.
Theo: Your friend has been most cooperative.
Brenda: Oh. Thank you.
Theo: I realize I'm usually the bearer of bad news
And so it gives me great pleasure to tell you
I petitioned the court for a continuation, and it was granted.
Which means the trial will be postponed for two months
And you will be free to enjoy the happiest day of your life.
Brenda: Ha ha!
You're kidding! Thank you so much.
Theo: You're welcome.
I wish that I could have convinced the plaintiffs to drop the case--
Brenda: Well, now you'll have more time to try, right?
Oh, my gosh!
This is so great!
Thank you so much.
Theo: You're welcome.
Brenda: Really, I can't thank you enough.
Theo: You're most welcome.
Brenda: Aah!
Jason: All right, two things we know about the Balkan--
He's targeted Brenda and Dante for killing his son
And Jerry Jacks is working for him.
Sam: Yes. Do you think there is a connection between Jerry and Theo?
Jason: I don't know.
When Aleksander's body was released, the Balkan sent Jerry to pick it up.
At the same time the lawsuit was filed against Brenda and Dante.
And then Theo shows up.
Sam: Okay. Well, coincidences do happen all the time.
I mean, look at Brenda shooting Banovic just to keep him from killing Dante.
It's almost a repeat of when she shot Aleksander.
Jason: Yeah, I know, but why would a lawyer from Manhattan with a practice there
Come to Port Charles?
Sam: Maybe he wanted the exposure for defending Brenda.
Come on, Jason.
Theo has been practicing for over thirty years.
He's an expert in all areas of the law.
And if he did create this lawsuit, it proves that he's a manipulator
But not necessarily connected to the Balkan.
Jason: Okay, what would he be trying to manipulate?
Sam: The press. Brenda is still the face of Cartullo.
She was in a very high-profile relationship with Murphy Sinclair.
Theo, he has an ego, and maybe he just wants the publicity for exonerating Brenda.
Jason: I don't know.
Honestly, I don't know.
But the wedding's tomorrow
And we know that the Balkan is gonna try to grab Brenda.
Sam: Yes, we do.
Jason, you have the best instincts of anyone I know.
And I'm not saying you're wrong
I'm just saying that maybe you can't focus so much on Theo
Because you might miss out on a clue that's gonna lead you in a different direction.
Carly: Do you see how up front and honest I am with my intentions?
I'm not sneaking around waving scissors in the air or turning on sprinklers.
Sonny: Yeah, I know it wasn't you.
Carly: Really?
'Cause you were so damn sure it was.
What changed your mind?
Sonny: Michael.
Because I knew that you were so busy with him
That you wouldn't be going around cutting wedding dresses.
Carly: No, I wouldn't.
Thank you.
Sonny: Petty sabotage wouldn't be the way you would, you know, uh, stop a wedding.
You would need something a lot more effective.
Carly: Ha ha. Yes, I would.
Sonny: It was Suzanne Stanwyck, the lady who works for Brenda's charity, who did it
And she thought that we would suspect the Balkan
And Brenda would get scared and she would postpone the wedding.
Carly: Oh. Can't blame a girl for trying.
Sonny: Why are you in such a hurry to leave?
Carly: Because you know what?
Believe it or not, I don't want to fight with you.
And anything I have to say, you don't want to hear.
Sonny: Could you do me a favor?
Carly: What's that?
Sonny: And just promise me that you'll stay away from Brenda
At least 'til after the wedding.
Siobhan: Hurry.
Lucky: I got it. I got it. Okay.
Lucky: Listen, I want you to stay here and keep watch, okay?
Siobhan: I need to see my sister. She must be terrified.
Lucky: Somebody might be in there. Just give me a second.
Stay back. Stay back.
Megan: Who's there?
Lucky: Come on.
Siobhan: Megan!
Megan: Siobhan?
Siobhan: Oh my God.
Megan: Oh, I've been so scared.
Siobhan: Are you all right?
Megan: For a hostage, I guess.
Siobhan: This is Lucky. He's my friend. He's gonna help.
Megan: Thank God you found me.
Lucky: We'll all be saying thank you when we're out of here.
Siobhan: She's in shackles.
Lucky: I know.
I'm gonna get you out of here, okay?
Siobhan: Megan, I'm so sorry.
Megan: Just get me out of here before those men come back.
Siobhan: We're gonna get you out.
Lucky: Hold on. I'll get it. Okay.
Siobhan: Just hurry. We have to hurry before they come back.
Lucky: I know.
Patrick: You know my history with Theo Hoffman.
Robin: You two got off on the wrong foot.
Patrick: Wrong foot, Robin? He sued the hospital for malpractice.
Robin: He dropped the charges.
You'll do an exam, you'll find nothing wrong with him, you'll--
Patrick: I will tell him that exact thing
And then he'll sue the hospital for malpractice.
Robin: He wants someone to listen to him.
Patrick: And you're so good at that.
You're great at that.
I don't have the patience.
I don't have the empathy.
Robin: You do.
You can do it.
I've seen you do it when you try.
Patrick: I don't want to do it with him.
Robin: For me, please?
Theo: Dr. Scorpio!
Thank the gods and prophets.
I'm afraid I'll be keeping you a little busy today.
Heh. Ah, Dr. Drake.
I, uh, see you're still employed here, by some Faustian bargain.
Robin: Oh, I'm really sorry to spring this on you, but
I have to help Brenda-- I'm the maid of honor-- with all the wedding stuff
And so Dr. Drake, he's so kind to step in and fill in for me today.
Theo: Isn't it a small world
When my physician is asked to be my client's maid of honor.
Patrick: Oh, you can postpone your appointment 'til next week.
That's fine by me.
Theo: Yes. I presume you're hoping I'll expire between now and then.
Patrick: Hmm. Okay, Mr. Hoffman, let me, uh, take you to an exam room.
Robin: Thank you.
Patrick: Mm-hmm.
Robin: Take care, Mr. Hoffman.
Theo: I shall certainly do my best.
I do hope you've sharpened your skills since I was here last.
