With less than a week until its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign comes to an end, North Sydney, Australia-based DM Initiatives’ ButterUp has raised over $320,000 AUD from almost 14,000 backers. Described as avid butter enthusiasts who wanted a solution to our hard butter woes, the company has been looking high and low to come up with a better way. This is how the “stupendous splendiferous” ButterUp was born.
The stainless steel gadget, called the ButterUp, is the brainchild of friends Sacha Pantschenko, 29, Norman Oliveria, 27, and Craig Andrews, 48.
