with the Npaerville Public Library for their Healthy, Wealthy & Wise initiative. Whole
Foods Market is a great place to come for healthy tips. We have a healthy eating program called Health Starts
Here. And basically we educate our team members and customers about how to incoroporate healthy
habits into their lifestyle. And today including healthy habits we'll be talking about how
to make a kale smoothie. Now when it comes to smoothies the great secret is there is
no wrong way to make one as long as you like it. Now there's some core items on how to
make a kale smoothie and we'll cover that today. Now first of course you want your greens
whatever greens you choose. Today we are using kale. We are using red leaf kale. The beautiful
thing about kale it's literally one of the most nutritious greens that you can possibly
eat and there's a lot of ways to use it. It's full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, calcium,
there's protein. It's perfection. And we will also be using spinach. Any time you can add
a variety of greens into your smoothie, you're just adding that many more nutrients and then
you can add your fruit as well. Now the great thing about adding fruit into your
