Today; in our fantastic blue screen room,
where we do all of our instructional videos in, we're going to be looking at the
Uncle Milton ant farm light up gel colony,
And I going to show you guys how to get started, how to set everything up
and all the features that comes with. Hi!
I'm Tyler! This is How to Ant Farm, let's talk about ants!
So let's get started!
You've got your three parts.
Got the basic ant farm with the gel.
You have the lid,
and down here somewhere,
See where its at in this box...
Then you have your little, scooper thing.
Its not really scooper its more of a bulb.
So! As you can see its ant farm gel colony.
Right here you have a button you can press
to turn the light on and off. It really lights up those tunnels that they create, it's really
cool looking.
on the bottom side, you have the batteries.
You put these in, and it also has the light built inside. You don't need to replace the bulb at
all, from my understanding.
You just put in AAA batteries. So here
you have the lid, you simply place it on top,
Snap it into place, It should make a little sound. Before you put the lid on though,
I'm gonna take it off, Yeah take your starting rod,
your scooper, you place it inside;
you can create two to four tunnels and the ants will do the rest
so you're gonna take your starting rod. What you're gonna do
is you're gonna place it, right inside, you're gonna
twist and push down just like this, and it should cave in fairly easily.
and you actually want to create a little bulb at the very bottom of this tunnel,
you just twist, gently push back and forth,
and you will have your' newly made tunnel.
Now let's repeat this process.
So we put in all the batteries, we're gonna turn off all these lights
and then we're gonna turn it on and see what it looks like in the dark.
