If you're a diabetic there's certain things that you can do to help lower your blood sugar
levels. I'm Dan Carlson, I'm a nurse. The main thing you've got to look at with being
a diabetic is keeping exercise on a daily regimen, watch your diet, make sure that you're
not eating foods that you know will spike your blood sugar. Also, it's important to
take your medications on a regular basis, and read the instructions on those medications
in case you forget to take your medication. Another thing to do is just watch your diet
very closely for things that are high in carbohydrates and sugars. You're just going to want to stay
away from high fructose diets. Insulins, diet, exercise and consulting your physician on
blood sugars. Monitor your Accu-Checks on a regular basis and keep a journal of your
Accu-Checks as that will show you where you're going wrong in your treatment. I'm Dan Carlson.
