Complementary angles are two or more angles that add up to 90 degrees. In this example
we can see that angle A plus angle B equals 90 degrees. We know angle A is 35 degrees
so we want to figure out the measure of angle B. So we know that 35 degrees plus something
( we will call that B) equals 90 degrees because they are complementary angles. So we know
they have to be 90 degrees altogether . We have used up 35 degrees and what we will have
left will be the measure of the missing angle B. So 90 degrees subtract 35 degrees leaves
us with 55 degrees as our angle of B.
