Thank you for your attention :)
Ok... Ladies and gentlemen.
I have decided to share with you
The most important concept that you will ever learn about in your whole life
And I'm really really not joking
I've decided to talk about this now because
it's much better like this because then I can build up further on
But this particular concept is extremely powerful
and it is THE key to understand
almost all human behavior
and I mean not just understanding, not just rationalizing
but like really predicting
human behavior
I think it's
Important to learn about this concept because
you will understand more
how you function
and I think that's a great positive
The concept that I'm talking about
And I mentioned it before in my previous video
is the concept of meaning, of value
but I would like to call it meaning
I don't want to call it value
so that you can just really understand it's about meaning
now what is meaning?
That's a good question.
Now...what is a word?
Imagine that I say to you "apple".
If you are from another country
if you don't speak English
The word apple doesn't have any meaning to you
it's like a sounbite
it's like just a meaningless sound
just like any other meaningless sound
something gets a meaning when we tie it up with something else
this means that
when I say "apple"
the apple refers to something
and in this case it refers to a fruit
a certain object that you can eat
something that has a round form
something that is healthy
something that falls from a three
and you can imagine how it looks because everyone of you have seen an apple
So... What is meaning?
well...THIS is meaning
exactly what I've just described
Not the word, not the codification, but...
the link with...
The thing, the entity that is linked with the codification.
That is the meaning
Now...
Imagine that you have
an apple
and a pear
or an apple and a banana
or an apple and an orange
let's take the orange
an apple and an orange.
Why do we give the apple and the orange two different codifications?
why do we give the apple and the orange two different names?
well...because you could say
"they are different"
and that's exactly the answer
two different meanings give the right to two different codifications.
"apple" and "orange"
Now... What is the thing that makes those two objects different?
well...
the color, that's one thing
the taste
the form also
and other things
but those are like the main, apparent differences between an apple and an orange
so
two different objects
exist if they are different from each other.
and I want to also introduce another concept which is extremely important.
It is the "wordix"
The name of my channel is "the wordix" "exitthewordix"
now what is the wordix?
well...
All of you have seen the movie "the matrix"
Well the wordix is like the matrix
it's a generated, illusory...
a false reality
that is created by words
that why it's called the wordix, not the matrix
the matrix is a system generated by a computer
the wordix is a system generated by language
Now what is the wordix? Well...
If language...
What is language?
well language is the acquisition of words,
we can take other definitions, but let's take this definition
language is the acquisition of words.
If language is the acquisition of words,
the wordix is...
the acquisition of the meanings of the words.
what does this mean?
If I say to you
"I've seen an apple fall from the tree"
if you read this, the written account, is language,
but what you experience in you mind when I say this to you is the wordix reality
so you enter the wordix reality whenever I start talking or
whenever you read something
so words have the power to create a reality
of-course because if I say apple you can imagine an apple
but there is no apple here
so how-how is it possible that you can see an apple when there is no apple?
and this is the false reality
it is a reality created by words
it is the WORD-ix reality
I've named it the wordix reality because it resembles the matrix reality
so two concepts: meaning, and wordix
so we go back to the apple and the orange
two different entities: apple and orange
exist in the wordix reality if they are different
what does that mean?
Well...
it means that
the wordix reality
is not the same is not the same as "reality"
whenever I say, whatever I imagine
is not the same as what is outside as what is real.
well "why not?" you can ask me "why not?"
Well...
imagine an apple
THAT specific apple,
that you are imagining
Does that specific apple really exist?
or does it only exist in your mind?
So
again, the wordix reality is created by language
Now, why don't we give...
I mean you can ask me, you can ask the question
"What is the reason why things have to be different in order to have a different name?
well imagine if you have two oranges that look identically
You can give them a different name,
but in the wordix reality
the would be the same thing
you cannot distinguish them
you cannot distinguish one from the other
you cannot know about which one you are talking about
imagine if I call two identical oranges a name
I give the one orange the name "Freddy", and the other one the name "Jacob"
If I tell you "owh, I went with Jacob, I ate Jacob."
You are not going to know which one of the two I ate,
you are going to be confused
You're going to say "Owh which one?"
because they are not different enough to exist as separate entities
so you can't make...
They don't exist as an individual, as an individual orange
so the more they differ from each other
the more that I can describe them to you
the more that you have a clear understanding of what I'm talking about
the more that you can imagine
the more that you can recognize
which thing that I'm talking about
so the more difference, the more EXISTENCE in the wordix
so now again, you have the apple and you have the orange
I've said already what the differences are
but an apple and the orange also have similarities
what are the similarities?
well
so if you have apple and orange
they have similarities on a higher level of abstraction.
and that's a very important concept:
"levels of abstraction"
apple and orange have differences that
make them different entities on a same level of abstraction
but when go on a higher level of abstraction
we have the concept "fruit"
the concept "fruit" exists based on the similarities between apple and orange
the similarities between apple and orange
give the rise to a different concept on a higher level of abstraction
which is "fruit"
so what is the definition of fruit?
well fruit: things that fall from a tree,
healthy food,
vitamins, you know , you can give definitions of what fruit is.
Now on that higher level of abstraction you have fruit
but you also have "vegetables"
now vegetables are different than fruit
they have different properties, they don't fall from a tree
they don't come from a tree
so again, on a same level of abstraction
the differences create separate entities
OK?
if you go to a higher level of abstraction
the similarities between those different entities
give rise to an entity on a higher level of abstraction
so the concept, the word "fruit", the meaning "fruit"
is made out of the separate parts, which is "apple" and "orange" and "banana" and other things
"banana" and "apple" exist because they are different.
And that is the structure of the wordix reality
that is the structure of it
if you understand fully the wordix reality and the structure of it
you can explain very accurately human behavior
and that is what I want to achieve
with this, with all these videos.
I want to explain to you how it works
I want to explain to you the mechanism
I want to explain to you the system
the wordix system
which is basically the software of a human being
in the next video I'm going to talk more about meaning and about the wordix
because those are very very very essential concepts
Thank you for your attention :)
