I own a 1915 Ford Model T Speedster and I bought it from my friend Jerry here not quite
a year ago. And I sort of got the Model T in my blood now and so I’ve been doing a
lot of car shows. And Jerry and I bump into each other quite a bit. And I’ve learned
so much by coming to these car shows by seeing all the different cars, talking, especially
talking to all the different people. And I mean this is a really amazing show here because
you got Model T’s to Packards to all kinds of hot rods to nice stock cars and and nice
people.
>>DENISE: And why did you choose this particular car to buy?
>>COLLECTOR: Well, I always wanted a Model T and I’ve I’ve been a mechanic all my
life, a hobbyist you know and and my first love is Volkswagen Beetles the old air cools
and if and if you can keep an old air cool Volkswagen running, you can make a Model T
run so. And they sort of share a similar life. You know different countries, different times
but sort of the same, the people’s car. This was the first people’s car Ford made
