Welcome to Team Wild's Redneck Road Trip.
For the next five weeks, we are going to be bringing you daily programming from our epic hunting road trip, across the Southern States of the USA.
Turkeys, Hogs, Varmits and Predators beware as the Team Wild juggernaut, charges across the Deep South.
Our first stop after landing in Orlando, is the Ross Hammock ranch near Inglis in Florida.
Welcome to Team Wild TV, but this is not Team Wild TV as you now it.
This is episode 1, of our epic five-week Redneck Road Trip, around the South East of the United States.
And this behind me, is going to be our home for that epic journey.
We're here in Florida, and then we go up through Alabama, into Tennessee, down through Mississippi and into Louisiana, to see our good friend Arthur Maver.
Back up to East Texas and then back down to South Texas, to see Joshua and Krystal White- Team Wild's Extreme Hoggers.
So let's have a little look inside and see where we are going to be spending the next five: awesome, epic, incredible, action packed, adventure weeks.
Come follow me.
So this highly luxurious, salubrious accommodation is Casa Team Wild for the next five weeks.
Now at this end, which is the business end, is where the kids sleep.
This is Joe; he's our new assistant.
He's going to make sure myself and Daniel, whose kind of behind you at the moment, have got everything we need to bring you all of the action over the next five weeks.
Essential stuff like: making coffee, washing my underpants, and cleaning my shoes.
Maybe, we haven't worked on that yet.
That's a kind of job description for him right now.
But here is where Joe sleeps, up at the top here. You can see, that Joe is not long out of University, because he has a very unique way of organising his stuff.
So driver's seats are in the front here.
This is where Daniel sleeps.
Now you can see that Daniel is very small. So this kind of fits him nice and comfortably.
I've been to Walmart, stocked up on all the essentials: peanuts, chips, student type pasta dishes and burger and sausage rolls.
So all very healthy stuff.
Right here, we have what is going to be Team Wild's new helmet cam. Our new point of view camera.
We are going to show you how we are going to make that in a little while.
We've got camouflage paint and all manner of other things.
So this is really going to help you guys get involved, and be part of the action. So that is a project we are working on.
So as you come through to this end, we've got the galley, the cooking area.
Microwave, range.
I've got my HS Strut Smoking Gun Turkey Call combo set and my Cuttin and Struttin DVD, to brush up on all my turkey hunting knowledge.
But I don't need that, because obviously I've had lessons from the master himself, Steve Hickoff, who is still officially my turkey-hunting hero.
So up here: pots, pans, coffee cups. We are pretty well organised.
My wife told me how to organise a home and I'm kind of getting there.
In the fridge, lots of healthy options.
We have hotdogs, we've got sub rolls, we've got pepperoni, and we've got sandwich equipment.
We have beer, of course we have beer.
Moving back, because this is where the grown ups sleep, all the grown ups clothes are in the wardrobe.
And all the students clothes are still in there bags.
Now we get a little bit tighter up here.
It's probably the smallest bathroom I've ever been in my life.
I did have a shower in there, and I didn't need to do too much.
I literally just needed to pour a cup of water over my head and it was pretty much finished.
I didn't need to dry myself either, because as I turned round, I was touching the walls on all sides,
but still pretty compact and bijou.
Nice little sink in the corner here.
Very important for somebody on the shiny side of the camera is a vanity mirror.
Just to make sure I've got my makeup right, so the lights don't look too shiny on my forehead.
Very smelly, these lynx deodorants are perfect for turkey hunting and hunting deer.
Just to make sure they know you're there.
And then of course, the master bedroom suite, the honeymoon suite of the RV is right here.
Complete with its black satin sheets.
So it is a little bit tight but it's very productive.
And you're going to be watching us slowly start to go stir crazy over the next five weeks,
as we learn the parameters of our relationships.
How are we going to get on?
What are we going to do?
Are we going to fallout?
And the answer is pretty much yes.
So here is where we are going to be sleeping. Now, lets go and meet the guys we are going to be hunting with.
So H, how long have you been hunting turkey for?
Since I was about five years old.
Oh right, so not long then, no?
Ye not long. I'm thirty-three now so I've been doing it for a while.
I've been doing it with my dad, my grandfather,
ever since I can remember.
And I've been going on my own, by myself going into the woods, since I was like sixteen.
So what is it about turkey hunting that's so exciting?
It's just everything, I love watching them strut, I love watching them gobble.
I love hearing them and if you can get them when they're co-operating, it's very fun.
Sometimes you just got to get them how you can get them.
So, this is a good time of the year for hunting turkey?
Oh yeah, this is when they're mating.
This is the mating season, so this is the best time for them to kill turkey.
