Hey everyone, AJ and Peter here from aquatics.
Every Monday we'll be posting a swim workout and tip of the week to our Facebook page and on the website.
This weeks workout is called the lunchtime workout because you can complete it in 30 minutes or less. Lets check it out.
Warm up by swimming 300 easy yards of any stroke. Next, swim 6 sets of 75 yards freestyle with 15 seconds between each set.
Then, kick of pull 6 sets of 50 yards. Remember that you can checkout pull buoys and kickboards from equipment checkout.
The last set is sprinting freestyle 6 sets of 25 yards with 5 seconds in between each set.
Warm down by swimming an easy 300 yards of any stroke. This workout is quick and easy and a total of 1500 yards. Good luck.
