I work in cards customer services.
My role is leading and motivating...
...the team leaders and the rest of the staff.
I have seven teams with about fifteen people on each team.
There are very close similarities to the techniques I might use, um, at the netball club... As well as in the workplace.
I love the competition.
I love developing a team that work together...
...and it's a group achievement rather than individual achievement.
I do feel that the input of myself and my team is invaluable to the changes we can make for our customers.
To do my job effectively, I need to be able to lead and direct and motivate.
Netball helps develop individuals, it develops skills, it develops teamwork, a passion for winning and success.
