Now, let's take a look at
balance.
Balance on the frontcourt.
Just as we did balance on the
backcourt being aware of
perfect, average, or poor, the
same thing will apply at the
net.
So Brad, could I have you up?
To show me perfect balance on a
volley up at the frontcourt.
How about average balance?

zone awareness.
S-strike zone.
What we mean by that, a player
being cognizant of where he or
she is striking the ball with
respect to the body.
So what you have right here are
three strike zones: from the
ground to mid-thigh,
strike zone one or low;
mid-thigh to chest,
strike zone two or good;
chest above,
strike zone three or high.
The ideal strike zone, you see
Brad's racquet there, is strike
zone two or good.

Strike zone for the frontcourt.
Having addressed the strike zone
for the backcourt was more in
respect to where is the player
making contact with the ball
with respect to the body.
For the frontcourt, we're
breaking it down as high and

high, anything below the chest
is low.
