Hey, were the DIY Divas, I'm Alison. I'm Christina. And I'm Lauren. We're going to show you some
DIY wood staining projects with items that we scooped up at the thrift store, 5-20 bucks,
transform it into far more stylish items for your home. So I found this vintage sled, stripped
it down and using a dark poly stain so that it's finished, lacquered and transformed in
just a few steps. I'm thinking of transforming it into a dog bed or an open kid's toy chest.
So, the dogs won. I stripped and stained it, now it's ready to make! So I will cut foam
to fit the shape, place a protective covering and choose one of two fabrics, which I will
do a simple cut and sew so that I can take it on and off so I can wash it whenever the
dogs get a little grungy. And finally, I'm going to add some wheels so that I can move
it room to room. Alright, dog bed complete, started as a vintage sled, stripped, sanded
and stained it, added a fabric and we're good to go. Enjoy!
