Boycotters: We will not participate in the military's game
The last election I participated in was the referendum
Amil Fathallah
Ever since, I have boycotted all past elections
The reason for this is obvious
It isn't about the candidates now,
Nada Amin
..the problem is that they are held under military rule,
..the coming president will have no authorities,
..and there is no constitution, parliament or anything
Right now there are two candidates,
..one says he represents the civil state..
..while he represent the military state
The other says he represents the revolution,
..while he represents the religious state
Therefore, neither candidate represents the revolution's goals
If we wanted a military state we wouldn't have started a revolution
We were already a military state,
..and if we wanted a religious state..
..they would have started the revolution, not us
I know he won't achieve any of the revolution's demands,
..as he will be under military rule..
..and for example, the coming president..
..won't hold the military junta accountable..
..for any violations they have committed since they came to power
I believe the results will be 99 percent fair,
..but these aren't elections in the first place
This is a game in which a few million people participated..
..for the benefit of people in power who have a remote control..
..which they use to control the country
