Hi, it's Anthony from www.consolemonster.com. And this is my third and probably final video
for the HD PVR Rocket - Portable Gaming Recorder from Hauppauge. We're capturing from the Xbox
One. I previously tried to connect the PlayStation 4, but sadly because its only HDMI port there
is no other work around to get past its HDCP protection, so you are pretty much out of
luck for capturing on PS4 with this unit, so finally it is time to put the Xbox One
through its paces. Setup is pretty much the same as the Xbox 360, so it just a case of
plugging in the HDMI port in a similar vain as how I have done it on the 360 video, so
if you want to know the whole setup of how I have done that, check out the first video
in this three part. One thing I have to point out when capturing on this is that previously
I had this Xbox One set to DTS audio, so playing back a past recording I just done I basically
end up with just noise, so make sure you set this to 5.1 or possibly 7.1 might still work,
or failing that you have stereo in the settings area. So that is pretty much it, we covered
two consoles, and then we have the Xbox One should you want to capture using the Xbox
One. You could use this unit to bypass the very short amount of time that you get to
record gameplay, should you want to do walkthroughs or cheat/FAQs and things, so maybe this unit
will fill that, but then again there is Twitch steaming coming soon, but who knows how long
that will be until it turns up on the Xbox One, so maybe using this unit will be your
best bet in terms of capturing everything on the box. [Goodies]. Of course your will
have the option to capture on to PC as well, which obviously recording form the Xbox One
will not give you that opportunity. So that is our coverage for the HD PVR Rocket. If
you want to see the full review, make sure you checkout the website and I will see you
soon with more videos hopefully, ok, cheers, bye.
