We're doing a dragon worksop
And teaching kids how to make dragons, its real fun
its the year of the dragon in Asia this year 2012 and the dragon is a very auspicious
symbolic animal in asia, good luck its benevolent its protection
it's Just a very iconic symbol
of Asian culture and asian sensibility
the dragon
My favorite is that its a dragon. I would we look for every opportunity we can find to
to offer workshops for kids and it's a
always a thrill to be able to do it on campus with a lot a community
programming as well
by it's great to be able to serve the campus community And and when the
Alumni come back
to wonderful occasion for the university and to be able to give them something
for their kids
to do this is really a great opportunity for us
you put your hand through the bottom of it and
put your fingers through the top of it and its talking, and you just move your hand up and down
well with like to have families coming in
during reunion weekend and we're delighted to have
the opportunity to have some students here in the hallway
we have college students who are working with the children just getting them
involved in
in a little hands-on art activity it's really fun I get to see let you know
how much fun they have how much they are learning and stuff
about our culture as well as its just really fun
even though we are a University Art Museum
we really considers ourselves part of the the whole community
and so we always welcomed
families people of all ages just coming out here
just for art history students or studio
I students in their professors rather we're here for
any professors on campus that is of any discipline
we enjoy working with people in the community as well
