Hi! I'm Kat McCarthy -- your Miche bag Representative!
Today I'd like to give you a close up and detailed review of the purple Miche shells
released June 2013.
Though often referred to as "purple", these shells are truly a luscious blend of plum
and merlot, with a gently distressed texture to the faux leather that imparts a very rich
look and feel to these shells.
Here, you see the Petite Pippa. Pale taupe top stitching in this window pane style is
set off by the two groups of bright silver rivets. Charming! So sweet and sassy, this
shell was placed on the Low Inventory list by the end of the first day it was released!
The Miche Classic Pipper continues the theme of "classy meets playful"! Just look at that
color and detail! You'll see that I have finished off the ends for this shell with the Classic
black pockettes. It keeps the silhouette very streamlined. You simply slide the pockettes
onto the base bag -- see that? , then add the shell. Everything is nice and secure.
This adds both storage, and a more refined and finished look to the ends of a Classic
base with a fold over shell.
I am showing Pippa here with the black rope handle. Very elegant and refined. A nice,
dressy approach. Now, here, I have the Silver Interchangeable chain handles, with the black
strap. I think this is a more casual look, and definitely plays it more edgy. I leave
it to you. Which do you prefer? The chic and graceful black rope handle? Or the edgy chic
look of the chains? Either way -- this is a beautiful, versatile shell, that easily
transitions from one season to the next.
And now -- the Demi. Where the Pippa was cute -- this is edgy chic!
Miche Demi Debbie is fabulous! See here, the top stitching detail? It is not so obvious
in the pictures, but it is so important in person. This wrap feature, is quite generous
and deep. See there? Caught here by the taupe strap and buckle hardware detailing. Just
fabulous! On the back, more accent stitching to set off the roomy zippered pocket. I love
this -- it keeps the look sleek, and yet provides the secure storage I need.
Because I really love the edgy chic of this bag, I have accessorized her with the Silver
Interchangeable Chain Handles and the black strap. So that you know, the cream strap that
is temporarily out of stock -- doesn't really work here. It is much lighter than the taupe
strap -- can you see that there? I don't think it really suits the style or color. Do you
see what I mean? So edgy Demi Debbie gets the black.
Here, for the Classic Pipper, if you have or back-order the cream strap -- I think it
could really work. It picks up the color of the stitching. Add the chain - It gives it
a totally different look.
There you have it. The plum toned Miche shells of June 2013. Pippa, Classic Pipper, and Miche
Demi Debbie.
So what do you think? I'd love to hear back from you!
