This instructional video will teach you how to find and use online books
The Moffett Library has access to more than 150,000 electronic books
One way to access these electronic books is through the Moffett Search
Use the "Books and more" limiter
Then choose the "Full Text Online" limiter in the search results
This will bring up a list of available electronic books on that subject or title
Sometimes the library may own both a physical copy and an online copy.
To access the online copy click on View It.
This should either provide you with a link to or take you directly to a website with the online book.
Another way to access these electronic books is through the Moffett databases
There is an Electronic books category on the Research Databases Page.
Clicking on this link will provide you with a list of databases that have electronic books.
The most current electronic books can be found in Ebooks or Ebscohost
Click on the database and then search by author , title, or subject
To view the book in Ebooks, click on the link "eBook Full Text"
Further videos with explain how download and transfer the ebook to your computer or electronic device.
Other databases will have slightly different methods to access online electronic books.
