Andy Sandoz >> Good energy I think like really buoyant and bright and bubbly and interest
in the world and then why the interests? Because creativity is about good references and good
taste. So yeah probably that ‘coz it is about potential directly were you are looking
to hire people and creativeness.
Al Young >> I look for spirit and edge, to be able to take a little risk. That and the
ideas you produce, and then resilience. Because this job, you could work with rubble, but
you can’t fall down, you have got to keep getting up all the time so it’s a combination
of good quality ideas and take a little risk plus the determination to keep going no matter
what happens. So even when they kill the babies, you just get over it. You come in again and
then go in again.
Emma Pueyo >> Originality and persistence I think and energy.
Becky Power >> To be passionate and enthusiastic, to work hard – I think these are the really
important things. I like, I think I have already said this really, but I like people that have
a broad knowledge of stuff and don’t really have a particular style to their work, I would
like to see lots of variety. But really when it comes down to it, passion and enthusiasm
in people that can really talk about their work intelligently.
Cordell Burke >> Just great ideas in any medium. I think there’s so many things that are
disposal now to produce great ideas. It’s always about the ideas, nothing else matters.
Graham Pugh >> That they love ideas and that they can’t stop having them, that they’re
really excited and that they’re remembering that that’s what they signed off for in
the first place. And you’ve got a lot of craft in this industry and we all get very
into our craft as we develop and we get into being professionals but you want so simply
to be really connected with “I want to do…” it’s kind of that ego, I want to see my
work everywhere, I want to see my work and I want people to say: “Wow, that’s clever.”
Gavin Gordon-Rogers >> Well it comes back a bit to the previous question and definitely
enthusiasm, genuine enthusiasm and passion for what they do. Certainly passion for digital
is important and that’s just going to be increasingly more and more for all Creatives
going forwards. Just being bright, intelligent, having the sense of humour, not taking themselves
too seriously, not having big egos. That’s it really.
