What do you know about breast color changes during pregnancy?
Don’t worry. They aren’t going to go flashing neon lights at you.
My girlfriend is worried about it.
A lot of the breast color changes are simply due to increased blood flow. The *** are
getting bigger while the milk ducts are developing.
That explains the dark blue veins. It doesn’t seem to explain the rest.
A woman’s nipples tend to get darker, proportional to the blood flow. The texture tends to get
rougher, too.
I figured that was the breast getting ready to become a baby bottle. But the skin is all
darker.
The body often makes more pigment in general while pregnant. Some changes are more localized,
like the dark line on the lower stomach or darker patches on the face.
She hates the pregnancy acne, which seems like a side effect of the extra oily skin
that we once said was a beautiful pregnancy glow.
She might have heat rash. That would darken the skin while looking like acne.
When will things get back to normal?
After having a baby, nothing goes back to normal. You get a new type of normal life.
When will her body get back to normal?
Her *** will remain bigger and nipples darker for the rest of her life, though they’ll
be even larger when she’s breastfeeding. Any darker stripes of stretch marks are also
permanent.
You’d think that would go away.
Stretch marks are scars inside the skin. Any stretch marks, whether on her *** or her
belly, are for life.
They sell creams to get rid of it.
You can reduce its incidence, but there are cosmetic surgeons who make a fortune with
lasers and surgery to eliminate them.
Then you end up with painful surgery, medical bills or both.
Or you could appreciate the new life you’re about to begin and get on with things.
