Good evening and a heartfelt welcome to our viewers.
The new black/red coalition has ordered a new mandate,
namely a requirement for all those who become German citizens,

It is now required to take an orientation class that entails cultural experiences.
First off, the course requires a three week paid vacation.
During the trip they must make it through certain cultural experiences.
ZDF correspondent Wilhelm Dietrich has the report.
Chancellor Merkel and SPD head Sigmar Gabriel agree with their coalition
that this program will be a great solution to many problems with immigrant integration.
Course participants ride to Berlin to visit the Berlin Wall memorial.
In fields in North Rhine-Westphalia they learn from farmers how flax is grown.
In the Black Forest they reenact Brothers Grimm fairy tales, such as Cinderella and Snow White.
In the Alps near the Swiss border they will also learn to yodel.
Among other things, participants are required to memorize seasonal Christmas baked goods and where they're made.
For example, "Printen" are baked in Aachen and "Lebkuchen" in Nuremberg.
Additionally, the names of all the Bundestag representatives must be memorized.
They also become table rhyme experts.
At first participants were skeptical and resistant.
As time went by though, they changed their attitudes.
