1D's Louis Tomlinson swapped the stage for the pitch when he donned a Doncaster Rovers
football shirt in front of a crowd of thousands this week at the Keepmoat stadium.
The heart throb made his debut for the reserves after signing as a non-contract player for
his home town club last August to raise money for a local children's hospice.
The 22-year-old didn't get to play at his planned appearance in September due to an
injury, but this time Louis was brought on in the 65th minute of the game much to the
delight of the more than 5000 fans that cheered him all the way. Not bad when usually the
club gets less than 100 supporters per game.
Despite the game ending nil nil the screaming crowds didn't seem to mind and neither did
Louis saying it was an honour to play for a club he'd idolised growing up.
It's such an honour to be involved in a club that, you know, I spent most of my childhood
going down to the games and just putting the shirt on is just, you know, a boyhood dream.
Well, we think he proved he has the footballing X Factor.
