Over two years ago I started a mission
To discover what love really is
All forms of love beyond romance
beyond friendship and beyond family
So I started a show in New York City
called Amar Action to answer those questions
Then I got calls from a few well-known friends
out in Hollywood
So I decided to pack up my New York City Apartment
and bring the show out west.
"Welcome to Amar Action my name is Amar"
During the production of that show
Out on set and on location
WE began to coin a catchy little phrase

tuned out to be a fort
in the middle of Utah
and after my car getting dug out of the snow
by the caretaker of the property
We were graciously led on a private tour
You can see these doors here how thick they are
Now the reason they needed the fort built here
The what we called the Black Hawk Indian War
Was going up by Manati 90 miles north of here
They were afraid it would extend down here
They needed protection for the telegraph
the post office and settlers as they would
move further south
So that’s why they built the fort
In fact out tour guide Elder Luke
explained that this fort was never used in War
and that there was only one shot fired in the fort
They had two boys
and when Dad and Mom had gone somewhere
They went into one room found the pistol
and one shot the other in the knee
And the one that got shot always bragged
he was the only person ever shot at Cove Fort
that’s nothing to brag about
Cove Fort acted as a way station
for people traveling the Mormon Corridor
in the late 1800’s
1800’s with two stagecoaches daily
an on site blacksmith
who tended to live stock
a telegraph office and a pony express
and a post office
Accommodations that rivaled any hotel
I’ve been staying in on this tour
When the men and ladies traveled
on the stage they did not stay in the same room
The men would stay in this room here
and the ladies the next room
That way they could maximize space
Otherwise you would just have
a couple here and a couple there
It’s better than Vegas right
Now this room here is where the ladies stayed
I’ve learned to say this politically correct
this is where the ladies stayed not the ladies room
You see this little bird right here
The bird?
Ok
On the floor you can see the date of 1855
that’s the year that cover was wove
And the blue and white one over here
is called a woolsey-linsey
A Woozy linen?
Wool and Linen
Linen is real strong.
This room we have what we call four sources of light
Can you I identify them?
Well that’s one
The storm windows is one
The fireplace. The fireplace is two
Ummmm
Do these doors open up to give you light?
No
The lantern over there on the mantel is three
And over there the lantern over there?
Well...well lantern is one.
Ok… Another source of light?
The last source of light you’ll see right there.
Oh the Bible.
The scriptures, the Bible that’s right the Bible of Christ.
The smallest details were left in tact
Illustrating how this fort served travelers in
their ventures to relocate out west
Now when did you all restore this... when was it restored?
Well it’s been restored .
long before the church got it
This is one of the two rooms
that the girls had
they had 7 daughters
and the others girls stayed in here
as well as the nursery.
Now this one here
over here on the mantel
you see that silver box
it’s a hair box
When the girls would brush their hair
comb it or cut it
they’d save it in there
they’d use the hair then for what we call hair art
Toys
the hair on the doll there is human hair
and over here on the pedal machine you’ve got four toothbrushes
The handles are made out of bone
the bristles are made out of pig hair
These rooms connect.
So you don’t have to go outside
Don’t have to and they were locked
so people could stay here
But if the mother wanted to visit
with the children or whatever she could go
through didn’t have to open the outside door to let the cold air in
and it gets that like snow and that crazy ok
I can’t complain about New York snow
I mean were in Utah

The log building
The right side of the building were the poles are
that extension there

we were in the medical group
