Ok we are going to be making a hacky sack today and so the first thing you need to do
is assemble all of your supplies. You're going to need some thick fabric whether it be a
canvas or a thick cotton, something that is pretty durable. You'll need a pair of scissors,
you'll want also some scotch tape and a plain piece of computer paper or craft paper. We
are going to use that for a funnel. You are going to need an iron if you want to put on
any decals like we are today. And then of course your decals, you'll need some tacky
glue, fabric glue or a hot glue gun, anyone of those is going to work. You are going to
need a filler, so you want to set aside some rice or some beans. And then you are also
going to need a very large knitting needle with a big hole or big eye hole and some thick
sturdy string or fabric that really got some extra layers to it and that's going to hold
your hacky sack together. Other than that you are going also need a can of some sort
to act as your outline so you can trace a circle pattern. And then depending on what
kind of fabric you are using, I'm using black so I'm going to use a yellow highlighter to
trace my pattern, but if you are using a light colored fabric you'll just need a pen, a pencil
or a dark colored marker. And you just want to make sure you have all your supplies assembled
before you are ready to start and that your iron is also good and hot. And that is everything
you need to make your very own hacky sack.
