One question that everyone seeking Jesus must ask Him for himself is, “Lord, do I have
eyes to see and ears to hear?” For most of my life I was blind I thought I could see,
I thought that I was living the good life. I thought that material things and that gain
was godliness. I thought that the Lord wanted me to have my best life here on Earth and
gain up material things here on Earth; nice home, nice vehicles, perfect wife, perfect
body. Everything here on Earth, I thought that the Lord wanted me to do just whatever
I wanted to do as long as I was happy (and I believed) it was ok. But the Lord has shown
me that I was blind. I thought I could see, but I was very blind. I didn’t really know
Jesus. I didn’t really see things the way that He wanted me to see until He anointed
my eyes with that eye salve; that same eye salve that he spit into His hand and got that
dirt in His hand and made the spittle and put on that mans eyes. He anointed my eyes
with the Holy Spirit and now I have eyes to see and now I have ears to hear; He has unstopped
my ears – I can hear His voice. But that was only by the POWER or the HOLY SPIRIT.
And each of us must go to Jesus and ask Him for ourselves, “Lord do I have eyes to see
and ears to hear?” In Matthew 13 Jesus spoke this parable to
the people, because most people then and most people now cannot hear and they can’t see
because they don’t want to see and they don’t want to hear. Beginning at verse 14
it says; “‘You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never
perceive.15 For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely
hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with
their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.” Jesus
wants to heal you. He wants to open your eyes; He wants to give sight to you. He can do all
things. He wants to unstop your ears so that you can hear His voice. He is speaking to
you, but you must be tuned into Him and listening. Everywhere you go, all that you see are people
that are like zombies; they are dead in sin. They are doing their own thing; they are doing
what they’ve been taught by people. They are doing what has been handed down by them
by the traditions, thinking that this world is LIFE, thinking that this world is what
God wants us to excel at. But God wants us to turn away from this world. The Scriptures
clearly say that if you’re a friend of this world than you are an enemy of God. And that
if you love the things that are in this world and of this world than the love of the Father
is not in you. I made this t-shirt today and I want to share it with you because I believe
the message is not only for you but the people that are going to read it when I go to work
or whenever I go out to the shops. People need to turn to Jesus and live. He will heal
you; He will give you eyes to see and ears to hear. But it’s up to you to ask Him.
It’s up to you turn from sin. It’s up to you whether or not you want to see, whether
or not you want to hear. It’s up to you – go to Jesus. (Showing t-shirt in video
that reads DON’T BE A ZOMBIE – ARE YOU DEAD IN SIN? TURN & LIVE 4 JESUS) May Jesus
bless you.
