I've never done a rant before so please bare with me. YouTube has ruined the interface,
yet again! Why can't they just stick to one design like most other websites? YouTube is
filled with ads from big corporations, and sometimes you have to watch the whole thing!
Google makes it to where if you have just two seconds of copyrighted material it can
get monetized by the company that owns the two seconds. I'm not really angry about the
ads though, mostly about the stupid interface changes and Google Plus, which you probably
heard of if you use any services by Google. So, it seems like every month Google has to
change there interface, and it frustrates me everytime they do so. I think the reason
why it happens is because the people working at Google get bored during their breaks and
have nothing else to do, so they just change the interface just for the sake to bother
us users. Google, if your listening, have you ever considered the effect it has on the
users? We users get frustrated whenever you decide to change the interface, because we
don't know how it works unlike you. Accompanying the interface problem, Google has become Mark
Zuckerberg wannabes with their Google+ crap. The name is weird! Google Plus? How do you
make a URL out of that? Oh yeah, right. I actually wouldn't be angry, except Google
has been shoving Google Plus down our throats through YouTube. Seriously, Google? If I would
want Google Plus, I would use it, but I don't want it. Can't you take no for an answer?
So back to the interface problem, they now ruined the comments by posting your comments
through Google Plus. I already said this, I don't like Google Plus! It is just another
idiotic decision by Google. You know, probably they use facial recognition just like Facebook,
and even if they don't, I still don't want it. I'm actually considering changing to another
video sharing site just because of the Google Plus incident. I tried Dailymotion but I can't
upload videos to there for some weird reason. Right now I'm staying with YouTube, but Google
please clean up the act before it's too late.
