- does paranoia exist amongst Jews?
- yes, paranoia exists.
I didn't name it. it's common
in Jewish paranoia literature.
I see the Jews in Israel
and the world live in an atmosphere of persecution,
part of it comes from the history of the Jews
and part of it is the incitement
of Zionism, who use the tool of fear
to continue with their plans.
the Israeli right wing uses today
fear to guaranty its status and draft
public opinion to support its right wing agendas.
I think the Jewish fear is unjustified,
and from the other side it's unclear.
I wonder how a country that conquers,
oppresses, bombards,
and threatens the entire Middle east,
how can its people be fearful?
there's contradiction...
- but in reality they're afraid.
I don't argue, they're afraid. it's true,
but there's justification, in current reality,
for this fear, or it's a fear passed
from history, past experiences,
and external incitement
that implanted fear into the people?
I compare them [Jews in Israel] and Gaza
or any Palestinian city that handles
daily Israeli bombing.
I don't think there's a comparison in the fearfulness...
there's more frustration and anger
but no fear. I think that the feeling
of persecution, called ''antisemitism''...
it's called antisemitism and it's related to
Jewish history from the past, which
is not related to us as Palestinians,
and also the Zionist incitement
that implanted fear into Jewish souls.
- the existing paranoia amongst Jews
is in fact well known.
