Hi! I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make
a cat costume for this Halloween. Some of the most creative parts of cat costumes I've
seen involve the tail. That's because there a lot of different materials and styles that
you can go for to create your cat tail. First off, recall I had mentioned wearing a belt
around the middle of your cat costume dress. One of the reason why belts come in extra
handy is because you can hook your tail material regardless of what it is on the back of the
belt either with a loop device, or also I've seen pins and buttons too also keeping the
tail on there. What can you use for tails? Your costume may come with a little tail.
This is more of a costume material tail. It's fine. It has a little bit of a motion to it,
and it kind of can move back and forth kind of like a natural tail. This is not of course
the highest quality of tail that you can get. For that, I've seen other things used. I've
seen very nice scarves, which are not very long, just like a solo wrap around. I've seen
that. I've seen cannibalize other clothing, but nicer clothing, which maybe is a little
bit used kind of made into just a longer shape of material. I've also seen other belts themselves
used as a tail material. Use your imagination. You may have something around the house that
you can still use for a tail material, as oppose to going out and buying one.
