What's up, guys? This is Cameron and I am here with DS2DIO 360 as you can see on
our awesome banner back here and I am at the MSA presents Freestylin'. It is the world's
first ever freestyle showcase jam. You guys this is incredible because usually freestyle
dancers they don't get the limelight, they don't get the credit and tonight they dance.
Uh, tell me why freestyle is so important. JET LI: It's dancing, it's an expression of yourself.
Freestyle basically is a window, it's a visual window to a person's soul or a dancer's soul
basically. That's what I think.
CAMERON: Where's your nickname from? CHARLES: I don't get it. CAMERON: Oh! That's awesome!
'Cause you look like him! GROUP: Ohhhhh! CAMERON: What?!
Oh my God, I've died and gone to heaven. I really want to
hear some advice that you guys have for young people who are trying to be dancers.
ROBERT: Every second that you're training, train with the conviction that you're training harder
than anyone else out there. MARQUESE: I would just tell them to stay dedicated and just
keep pushing at what you believe in. CAMERON: What about YouTube? Is that the best way to
get started as a dancer? MARQUESE: Yah, but it takes time though. CAMERON: Really?
MARQUESE: Everything takes time you know?
CAMERON: Bummer, I was really hoping to be a superstar by next Friday.
JANELLE G: What's up DS2DIO 360? CAMERON: We have Willdabeast the one, the only
and also his fabulous girlfriend, Miss Janelle G, YouTube celebutante. WILLDABEAST: Yes,
I love it. Say hi. JANELLE: Hi. CAMERON: Oh my gosh, they're so in sync, they even finish
each other's "Hi's." Will you guys teach me something right now in under 5 seconds?
JANELLE: In under 5 seconds? CAMERON: Like a really cool move that'll wow my friends.
Can you guys teach me a move though? ROBERT: Wrist, elbow, shoulder. CAMERON: You wanna teach me
something really fast? MARIE: Head, body, head, body. Come back. CAMERON: Amazing! This
is what it feels like to be successful like you guys. ROBERT: You're amazing already.
CAMERON: Look at that, that is some good - BABY BOOGALOO: What's up DS2DIO 360! CAMERON: I'm
here with my main squeeze, Miles, also known as...BABY: Baby Boogaloo! CAMERON: Give me some
advice for other short dancers like yourself back home who want to be successful like you.
BABY: Keep it funky, have fun, and keep dancing. CAMERON: Oh, keep it funky! CAMERON: Introduce
yourself to our amazing fans. DAVE SCOTT: What's up everybody, it's Dave Scott. Ready
to get it in, get it in! CAMERON: Oh, that sounds so ***. DAVE: It's all about the
freestyle, not really the routine, so if you see somebody in a routine and you're like
oh, that routine is hot, but look at that person. Now it's time for that person to come
forward and show his stuff. CAMERON: Yes, that's amazing. Just like Whoopi Goldberg
in Sister Act had she gotten in the showcase. DAVE: What's up DS2DIO 360, Jon Chu, love
you. Peace. JANELLE: Da na da na da na daaaa. Perfect. Oh my God. JON BOOGZ: When you stop,
you gotta shake. So it's like, you know when a penny drops and it goes ba da da. CAMERON: What
kind of pennies do you have? RYAN: Wrist, elbow, shoulder, chest, shoulder, elbow, wrist.
CAMERON: That's hilarious. JON BOOGZ: Exactly and that's how you get that robotic...
CAMERON: Am I coin' it? JON BOOGZ: Somethin' like that.
CAMERON: I am here with with Tony, Jenn,
JC, and Shelli at MSA, tell me why this is so important this event tonight. JENN: You know what,
we do a lot of club MSA events that are just parties for people to network and stuff.
This one's really special and important because it showcases our freestylers which
is not what people normally put to the foreground which is bad, you know? You have to showcase
these individuals that have something so special to show to the world. You know what I mean? And
let them shine for a minute at least. CAMERON: What do you look for? How do you get out?
What's advice for them? JENN: The biggest thing is confidence and that sort
of passion for what they do. They have to love dance. CAMERON: So talent isn't as important?
JC: Talent is definitely important, but we're looking for someone whose serious abut their
career, because we're serious about this. We're looking for someone as passionate about what they
do as we are about what we do. JENN: And seeing that fire you know? That fire in their eyes.
GROUP: What's up DS2DIO 360?!
DAVE: Jon Boogz of the Control Freaks Crew. Yah!
Yahhhhhh!
Everybody give it up.
