Today, we are going to learn how to prep the hair for a quick weave. She has natural hair,
so we are not going to completely wet her down.
We are going to pull her back into a ponytail, right up under where your head kind of sticks
out is the best place for it. That way, you can tuck it in flatter. Then, we are going
to get gel, and we are going to go through her hair. It's better to go through a row
at a time. So, you start at the back and just put the gel on and brush it in as you go to mold the hair.
Because it is natural, it's easier to do it this way, then to wet it and have it go completely
natural.
So, it's already blown out straight so we will put the gel on this way, and then we
will put her under the dryer and allow her to dry completely. So like I said, go through
the hair a row at a time and apply your gel and brush it down and in as you go, each layer.
As you can see, it makes the hair lie really, really flat. And now, we are all prepped to
start our quick weave.
