I'm here today to get you started on your 21 Day Fix.
I'm so excited!
This program is gonna revolutionize taking your fitness to the next step.
And, it's also gonna get a lot people hot for their upcoming events.
Um, so the 21 Day Fix is a structured program.
It is a seven day a week workout program
that includes all, all spectrums of fitness...
the person who is really pushing it and the beginner.
The modifier, I really appreciate that in a program and it also incorporates portion control,
which I know for me, is a huge problem when it comes to knowing exactly how much
to eat to create the greatest amount of results in the smallest amount of time.
So, it comes with these containers.
They do come with their lids.
But, I'm going to be showing you in the next couple of videos how I utilize these
to make my program work for me.
Basically, you use these to measure your food.
So this would be like for your fruit, your vegetables, your proteins, your grains,
your carbs and there are others for healthy fats and seeds and nuts.
They're great tools to make sure you stay super committed to your program.
My purpose is to make a difference in your 21 Day experience.
Someone once read this poem to me and I want to read it to you.
A young man is walking along the ocean and sees a beach on which thousands and thousands
of starfish have washed ashore.
Further along, he sees an old man walking slowly and stooping often,
picking up one starfish after another and tossing one gently into the ocean.
"Why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?," he asks.
"Because the sun is up and the tide is going out,
and, if I don't throw them further in, they will die."
"But, old man, don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it?
You can't possibly save them all.
You can't even save one-tenth of them.
In fact, even if you work all day, your efforts won't make any difference at all."
The old man listened calmly and then bent down to pick up another starfish and threw it into the sea.
"It made a difference to that one."
So for this 21 day journey, I'm wearing my starfish to remind myself that
if the world was perfect, I'd come in and rock your babies while you were doing your workouts.
I'd cook your food.
I'd portion it all out for you.
I'd fold your laundry.
I'd do anything I could.
I'd move your legs while you did the workout
so that you would experience tremendous results, but the responsibility lies on you
and all I can do is stay with you from this 21 journey to make sure that you feel
as supported and accountable
so you can create those kind of results.
Long lasting, not just for 21 days.
But, developing them into healthy habits for a long, long time.

So you might think the 21 Day Fix is a gimmicky kind of program.
But, really the program is designed to get you focused and structured for 21 days.
So, you can develop your skills and knowledge, nutrition and fitness,
and integrating moderation,
while keeping you motivated because you are going to see results.
When you commit to something that's such a rigid program like the 21 Day Fix,
you're going to see kind of outrageous results in 21 days.
If you follow it and it gets really exciting and motivating to stay focused beyond
the 21 days and then you can start thinking about what you are going to do next right.

Are you going to go onto P90X3 or T25 or any of our other incredible programs
that Beachbody has to offer?
So, I guess what I'm saying is don't view these 21 days as a quick fix
and then go back to your terrible habits before.
View these 21 days as an incredible way to start your journey and keep you motivated
for life long wellness.
