Classic Elite brings us three new yarns for the spring 2014 season,
along with new patterns full of gorgeous sweaters and accessories.
Classic Elite yarns Cerro is a eighty-five percent pima cotton
15 percent alpaca blend, machine wash gentle.
This sport weight yarn knits up at six stitches per inch
on a US 4. Each 50 gram hank
has a 150 yards. Cerro is the dyed version of
Classic Elite's Canyon and has the same soft hand
and beautiful drape. It's pure pleasure to knit with
this wonderfully soft yarn. The yarn looks great with textured stitches,
in lace, and in stockinette stitch. Knit and crochet patterns for all
seasons sweaters and accessories can be found in Classic Elite pattern booklet
Sunny Day.
Cerro can also be substituted for patterns using Canyon
in Classic Elite's pattern booklet 9213,
Surf's Up, and in booklet number 9211,
Canyon. Classic Elite yarns Bella Lino
is a 58 percent linen, 26 percent viscose,
16 percent cotton, hand wash only yarn.
This DK weight yarn knits up at 5 to 5.5 stitches an inch
on a US size 5-4. Each 50 gram ball has a 164 yards.
Bella Lino is a lightweight soft linen blend.
The yarn has a subtle thick and thin texture and stripes beautifully.
The stripes are long and move from color to color harmoniously.
Bella Lino looks great in stockinette stitch.
It's perfect for warm weather sweaters and light weight accessories.

Classic Elite Yarns Meadowlark is a fifty-percent silk,
30 percent linen, 20 percent viscose, hand wash only yarn.
This worsted weight yarn knits up at 4-4.5 stitches per inch
on a US size 7-8 needle. Each 50 gram hank
has a 110 yards. With its unique blend of silk, linen, and viscose,
it's soft and light but still substantial. This yarn is perfect for simple shapes
and for patterned accessories. The Homestead pattern booklet
